Coming soon to a computer near you!

I'm back....!!!! New computer, refreshed attitude, visitors from home and two weeks with Michael what more can I ask for? Ok..a visit from Erica would be nice. As would someone willing to pay our tax bill. Because of our dual residency in 2007 3M had Deloitte prepare our taxes. Their first action was to file an extension, their next to sift through all our paperwork and last but not least present us with a larger than life bill. Enough whining....ok just one last whine....I had a post completed and ready to publish when a javascript error came up on the blog site. Dang, I have to do this all over again!!! I hope I can be as witty the second time around!

Tons to catch everyone up on. I am still working on categorizing over 1000 pictures I copied over from the computer from hell (may it rest in peace). I will post pictures with each new blog. I plan on blogging everyday until my updates are current. You can expect the following:

1) Trip to Amsterdam. Bad weather, great city and amazingly entertaining
2) Visit from Michael. He loved the city, the people and his mom and dad.
3) Trip to Krakow and Auschwitz/Birkenhau with Michael. Glad we went to Krakow after our visit to Auschwitz. It is very moving. In case I forget this in my other blog...I saw a ghost two nights in a row at our Krakow hotel. Spooky...same ghost both nights.
4) Trip to Berlin with Michael. I'm not sure how proud I am of my German heritage after seeing how mean they were to a whole lot of people during WWII. I'm sure I'll get over it!
5) A visitor from home!!! Thanks to Deborah for adding us to her travel itinerary.
6) A trip to Prague with Deborah. Major sucky weather but a great city and good company. May I never drive in Prague again. Thanks to Deborah Craig and I are still married. Because Deborah was in the car with us we practiced a lot of constraint as we attempted to find the hotel. Once we were alone he did offer one expletive (but it was the really naughty one).

Instead of tackling five loads of laundry I am watching the Olympics with Oliver sitting on my lap. It has been fun watching the coverage without an American bias. The commentators are blunt - which has made me laugh on many occasions. I find myself proud of how well Poland is doing in the Olympics and kind of shocked at how poorly the Americans are doing (except for Michael Phelps of course). I will withhold commentary on the following: the Chinese woman gymnasts (if they are 16 I am 30); heavyweight class of woman weightlifters (oh my...); still not sure what I think about female wrestling; and, lip-synching! You all know I am not opinionated - enough said!

I am not going to take my chances on the site throwing me a java script error again so will close this out now.

Here is a teaser....."I can ride my bike with no handlebars"! Love you Michael!
