Ok...reality check!!! The movers were here today to take a look at what we planned to ship. The air container is 58" long, 42" wide and 45" high. That means I can bring all my crafting supplies, half of my shoes and not nearly enough clothes. The downside...Craig will have to go naked!! We will be purchasing bags that will "freeze pack" our clothes to greatly reduce the bulk. It will take about 8 days for the shipment to arrive in Poland. We will definitely be taking advantage of the two bags per passenger allowance when we make our trip. Since we are planning on returning to the U.S. at Christmas we can replenish the closet during that trip.

I'm in the process of retrieving copies of birth certificates and marriage licenses. It is advised we have copies with us. I have also obtained my international driver's license and renewed my Minnesota license. Next are copies of all our insurance policies, financial documents and banking information. My organizational skills are being taxed.

We are in the process of scheduling our cultural immersion classes and the week of August 13 Craig will be back in Poland finding housing for us. I will be in Indiana that week for my contracted job. I'm interested in whether or not you all think I should trust him with where I'm going to live for a year!!! I may have to be somewhat forgiving since his wardrobe has to be reduced so drastically!
